Hello, February!

We spent the last week of this month being persistent mathematicians and problem-solvers. We applied our knowledge of regrouping to three-digit numbers and used several strategies to ensure accuracy. We even channeled our inner superheroes and did some Hulk Smashing to uncover our addends!

Next week, we dive into subtraction with regrouping.

Our weather provided opportunities to observe the different types of clouds we've been studying and we've even collected some precipitation in our rain gauge! Things will keep looking up for our next unit, Objects in the Sky.
